Emmanuel is a young professional who is passionate about leadership, learning and development for young people. He has over three years of work experience in sales, teaching, training, and project coordination, and over eight years of experience working with young people across various youth-led development and community service platforms such as the Federation of Colleges Ex-Students Christian Association (FECA) Nigeria, the Nigeria Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF) Akwa Ibom, and the National Association of Philosophy Students (NAPS) at Imo State University.
He is a graduate of Imo State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Currently, he is a student member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management. He co-founded Soar Yonder — a youth education and engagement organization with a mission “to reinvent Africa by equipping young people with the knowledge and skills needed to solve socio-economic challenges in impact sectors critical to sustainable development.” since its inception in May 2017, soar yonder has reached over 3,500 young people directly and indirectly.
Emmanuel is an alumnus of Barrack Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) RLC West Africa (18’ cohort 7) with an amazing knack of inspiring youths towards purpose discovery and impactful living. In recognition of his exceptional performance during the program, he was shortlisted among the top 20 African budding leaders to receive further training on ‘imagine academy’ courses by Microsoft. He is also an open-source leader with Common Purpose having graduated from the common wealth100 online leadership development program. Emmanuel currently works with Africa’s largest mobile telecommunications company – MTN Nigeria, as a Sales Representative and he also serves as a Representative at the Employee Council.
